An elegant display of Aayat-e-Karima—the prayer recited by Prophet Yunus (AS) inside the belly of the whale, through which Allah granted him relief. The main concept involves translating the ornate  architectural details of a historical monument,  the mirror mosaic work (Sheesh Mahal style) and geometric patterns into textile design.The process involves identifying iconic elements from these structures, such as floral motifs, starbursts, or ornamental panels, and reimagining them as repeatable patterns suitable for fabric printing.

The beautiful design is directly inspired by the intricate and repetitive texture of the natural woven mat (rattan) .

This pattern is characterized by its small, detailed, interlocking checkerboard effect in various shades of natural wood. This elegant design concept directly translates traditional Kundekari (hand-carved wooden joinery) into textile art.

Mughal Architecture Fusion:

‎This elegant design translates the three-dimensional, cascading geometry of Mughal muqarnas vaulting into a structured, wearable silhouette. Rich terracotta and gold fresco motifs are reimagined as an ornate embroidery on fine silk, bridging historical grand arches with modern life.

The rich terracotta hue and multi-layered arch perspectives are translated into a custom woven fabric roll. The fabric captures the arch silhouettes and complex floral-geometric motifs, turning architectural perspective into a wearable pattern.

‎Fashion Application: The accompanying technical sketch  demonstrate how these structured arches and warm stone tones are designed to form a modern, sculpted gown bodice with draped, arch-like layers.

‎A female mannequin is dressed in a saree tailored from the new textile. The complexc arch pattern from the source  (Mughal Architecture) has been simplified and reimagined into a wearable pattern. The layered arches are translated into the saree’s pallu and border, while the detailed fresco motifs are used for the main body.

It is a massive, fortified, heavy Mamluk building that was subsequently finished with pencil-thin minarets and domed forms of the Ottoman imperial style, creating a unique hybrid skyline that defines Cairo to this day.

‎Four thousand five hundred years ago, the bull predominantly symbolized the Indus Valley Civilization. Being an agricultural region, the bull became a symbol of immense power, leadership, and protection. If we visualize it closely, its sturdy body posture, strong horns, and symmetrical hair patterns all depict the roots of our Kundikari (relief work), Kashikari (mosaic tilework), and Islamic calligraphy.

Above, a crimson sky serves as a quiet reminder that we are continuously moving toward the Day of Judgement and the end of this earthly journey. Since the time of our departure remains unknown, we must avoid losing ourselves in the fleeting allure of this world and instead keep Allah Almighty constantly in our hearts.

On the surface, life appears peaceful and serene, untouched by care. Beneath that calm exterior, however, a fierce storm rages—much like the ocean, which masks its deep, tumultuous currents beneath a quiet tide. Preserving or creating true tradition requires a profound sense of mental and spiritual stillness, a quiet depth that feels entirely out of reach in this present state of mind.

Here, the calm waters symbolize their righteous deeds—the very foundation of their salvation—while the expansive doorways reflect their steadfast devotion in fulfilling Allah's commands. Standing wide open, these doors welcome the believer to enter Paradise through whichever gate they choose.
